CCFA Data Management and Resource Dissemination Core

The efficient integration of multiple forms of data (e.g., molecular structure, pre-computed bioinformatics, biochemical and biophysical measurements, and analyses of pathogen physiology and virulence) is crucial to the success of the multi-disciplinary CCFA research team.  The informatics framework within the CCFA Data Management and Resource Dissemination Core (DMRDC) has been developed by Dr. Gyorgy Babnigg of Argonne National Lab, and provides a platform for efficient communication between the collaborative microbiology research groups, the administrative and technology cores, NIAID representatives, outside collaborators, and the scientific community as a whole.
